Education & Training

  • Pitane Consulting Services can assist First Nations communities with education and training in many ways by offering guidance and support in creating, sourcing, and overseeing learning programs to help build members’ capabilities and unlock their potential.

    We are committed to assisting First Nations leaders meet the specific education and training needs of their community. With Pitane’s comprehensive understanding of First Nation educational needs and supports, Pitane will:

    • Encourage Mentorship programs in the school system and on the work site.

    • Source secondary school training including trades.

    • Introduce careers in the school system and assist with program planning.

    • Assist with initiating career development by designing education programs to bring career awareness to community members.

    • Collaborate with community leaders to strategically create learning experiences that can support their broader transformation efforts and add value to sustainable community development and growth.

    • Assist with work experience and apprenticeship programs.

    • Source and oversee job specific training for frontline workers.

    • Initiate leadership training for management.

    • Support change management programs.

Social Empowerment

  • Pitane Consulting Services can assist with implementing sustainable development initiatives and foster meaningful partnerships to work towards empowering First Nations communities and improving the overall quality of life for all community members by:

    • Creating processes and plans aimed at improving the quality of life of community members.

    • Identifying needs of elders, youth, and their caregivers.

    • Creating plans for enhancing lives of elders, youth, and caregivers.

    • Identifying and improving arrangement of common use community areas for all community members.

    We will assist with identifying design and layout needs of the community to ensure it is meticulously crafted so it not only caters to the individual needs of its residents but also fosters a strong sense of community by:

    • Creating community spaces that encourage interaction and involvement.

    • Identifying and creating dynamic cultural areas.

    • Creating multi-generational fitness and sports facilities.

    • Creating or enhancing playgrounds.

    • Providing plans for and create cultural community gathering areas.

    Pitane will focus on comprehensive employability education and training programs to equip individuals in the community with the tools and skills needed to thrive in today's dynamic job market by assisting with:

    • Identifying community education needs.

    • Creating and implementing trades, career development, leadership, and mentorship programs.

    • Creating school programs to assist with employability and career knowledge.

    • Work experience and apprenticeship programs.

Cultural Engagement

  • Pitane Consulting Services will foster meaningful cultural engagement within First Nations communities. Collaborating closely with community leaders, we offer tailored programs such as workshops, comprehensive community planning, and heritage preservation strategies.
